We serve the least, the last and the lost...

The Northlands Rescue Mission building is ideally suited for housing purposes.  Built in 1904 it had been used as a nurses dormitory for the Deaconess Hospital.  The Mission purchased the building in 1972 and is now home to all of The Mission’s ministries.

Our Kitchen and Dining Room help us...

Provide On-Site Meals

The kitchen and dining room were built as part of the 1997 flood recovery project for Northlands Rescue Mission.  When the building housing the previous kitchen and dining room facilities was lost with the flood the new facilities were placed on the main floor of the current building.  The current kitchen is a facility very well suited to support the Mission’s on site feeding program and handle in excess of 200 servings each day.  A new dining room was added which will seat 72 people at one time.

   Men & Women’s Dorm help us…

Provide Emergency Shelter

The Northlands Rescue Mission’s Men and Women's Dorm help provide emergency shelter to the hundreds of people who come to The Mission each year.  The dorms are secured on a daily basis with room inspections conducted periodically.

   Men’s and Women’s Semi-Private Rooms help us…

Provide Temporary Shelter

Northlands Rescue Mission provides 49 beds for men in semi-private rooms and 15 beds for women in semi-private rooms.  These rooms generally have 2 or 3 beds a dresser for each occupant and one or two closets.
